The History of the Bulgakov’s House

Bulgakov Museum
2005
During major renovation works at the Bulgakov House, the team managed to rescue and restore interior elements that were being destroyed and discarded — including wallpaper fragments dating back to 1905−1906, plasterwork, door components, and original hardware. These elements were assembled into a permanent exhibition, which, alongside architectural fragments, told the story of the building’s architecture, its creators, and the history of its construction.
